The Untold Story

Based on 15 documents directly referencing "Genghis Coin" from the Department of Justice's Epstein Library

1The Mongolian Election — June 2017

The story begins with Mongolia's 2017 presidential election. Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were actively monitoring and supporting the candidacy of Khaltmaa Battulga.

On June 26, 2017, Ganbat sent Epstein live vote tallies, referring to Battulga as "our guy"

2Victory — July 7-8, 2017

When Battulga won the runoff election, Ganbat immediately informed Epstein and relayed a message directly from the newly-elected president:

"Battulga called just now. He asked me to 'thank you for your support!' It's been an uneasy fight against the mafia state. Now the work begins."

3The Birth of "Genghis Coin"

Within hours of Battulga's victory, on July 8, 2017 at 10:33 AM, Epstein emailed about his grand idea:

"Mongolian digital Currency... It will get a lot of world attention and bring excitement"

4The Vision: First Sovereign Crypto

Epstein was shopping the concept to multiple countries. In an email to Sultan Bin Sulayem, a prominent Dubai businessman:

"The mongolians have asked me to create a digital currency for their country, as bitcoin has no sovereign guarantee... I wondered whether dubai should issue one, instead of mongolia."

THE TWIST

While the original vision was tainted by its source, we're reclaiming this idea for good. Genghis Coin is now a community-driven memecoin where 100% of creator fees go directly to charity — specifically to Steppe & Hoof, an organization protecting Mongolia's heritage and culture.
